I want to offer my apologies to those of you who've had trouble posting comments. I respect your time, I value your input, and I want this blog to be user-friendly in order to serve all of us. I'm very sorry that some of you found it intimidating or difficult the first time around.
Since I'm new to this myself, I neglected to adjust the default settings for the comments function when I launched the blog. I've now done that, so it should be possible for anyone to post a comment using their name only.

Embracing Life in a Changing World
Why this blog?
In this time of global change, we're witnessing the collapse of structures and systems that have molded us socially, politically, economically, environmentally, and spiritually. Some days, it can seem as though we're adrift in chaos with nothing old or new to stand on.
Like others who see this time as an opportunity to build a better world, I believe we have the power to co-create new possibilities if we set aside our fears and work together out of our common humanity. I also believe there's a groundswell of new possibilities even now--networks and collaborative processes that are emerging around the world, inviting us to build vibrant, creative, sustainable communities locally, regionally, and globally.
As I confront the challenges and uncertainties of my own journey through change, I'll post periodic readings and reflections in hopes of opening a conversation with you about how we're navigating this time of transformation--what we're feeling, what we're learning, what matters most to us, what we hope for, what we're letting go of, and what sort of future we envision for ourselves and our world.
I especially want to focus on that which sustains, inspires, empowers, and excites us--that which gives us hope. Whatever the scale of this conversation, my desire is to launch something that might somehow contribute to the well-being of all by reminding us that we're not alone and that there are infinite possibilities in the present moment.

- I'm a seeker with a multitude of interests and a lifelong desire to understand the big picture. How to Post Comments
1. Scroll down the left-hand column to the bottom of the post you're responding to.
2. To the right of the words saying "Posted by Deb at . . . " you'll see the underlined word "comments" with a number in front of it.
3. Click on that to open all the current comments, with a blank box at the end saying "Post a Comment."
4. Below that, you'll see a line saying "Comment as . . ."
5. Click on the blue arrow and scroll down to the appropriate profile option, including "Name/URL" or "Anonymous" (if you're more comfortable with that).
6. If you choose "Name/URL," fill in your name as you want it to appear, and click "Continue." The URL field can be left blank.
7. After typing in your comment, click on "Preview" to read your draft.
8. If you're happy with it, click on "Post Comment."
9. If you want to make changes, return to the previous screen by clicking the "x" in the upper right-hand corner of that small window or the "back" arrow (<) on the task bar of your computer.
10. Make your changes, hit "Preview" again, and hit "Post Comment" when you're ready.
11. If you decide to bail out altogether, keep hitting the "Back" arrow until you return to the main blog page with no comments showing.
